Wish I did it earlier. Went in on Saturday 18th February and left on Monday 20th
February.
Op at 3.0,clock, back on the ward by 5pm. I had an epidural so no sickness or groggyness. Nursing care was constent for blood pressure to medication, to always asking if I was uncomfortable or in pain.(Outstanding people, outstanding care)
I did what was requested of me, to moving my legs and the following morning up walking with no pain my I add, unbelievable, my family were so shocked.
Since I have been home progress has been outstoutstanding, good improvement everyday. Sticking to exercise plan and tablet routine. Today Friday 3rd March, called to see the nurse at the local GP surgery to have my dressing changed. Wow! amazingly, very faint scar with just a little bruising, they were amazed and no need for me to return. I had an amazing surgeon and can never thank them enough. If my other hip needs replacing,
I would not hesitate to return to Emerson Green.
