What I liked
That I was treated with understanding and respect by both the matron and doctor. The doctor explained what treatment I needed now and what should happen in the future, he was not just treating my current symptoms ( I attended the out of hours service).
What could be improved
The only thing that could have been better was the signposting to Tiverton Hospital. I new I had to see a doctor today and went on to the NHS website to see what my options were. I had taken my son to Tiverton Hospital before as advised by Doctors on Call and wanted to confirm that a service was available today - there was no information at all on the website, in the end I just telephoned them and they told me to go straight in, this was at 6.30 this morning - had I have known I would have gone in the night when my symtoms started. So more information about the service provided by the Hospital available on the website please.
Anything else?
The service and treatment I received this morning was first class, and always has been when I have attended Tiverton Hospital. The service they provide are what make out Health Service so precious - a true model of excellence.
