"Excellent service, cannot fault"

I had to pop in to the Minor Injuries Unit this week for grit in my eye.

I did have to wait 1.5 hours, but a young lady with short breath and chest pains quite rightly was allowed to jump the queue.

The member of staff who saw me was extremely professional and identified the problem and sent me away with some ointment.

I am very concerned that the whole of Falmouth Hospital is now under threat - my GP couldn't really be expected to do this for me, and the only alternative would be A&E (which we all know is under huge stress).

I was extremely pleased with the help I was given and warmly commend the staff running this unit.
