"Deserted post!"

About: Peterlee Community Hospital / Urology

Asked to come in early for out patients appointment. Arrived on time, walked to "out patients" where nobody was on reception. Walked into a clinical area after a few minutes to find i was in the wrong outpatients (very helpful physio directed me). Then went to the right area where again nobody was on reception. One sign says "welcome to reception please take a seat". Another sign says you "must hand your appointment card to staff to avoid a delay". Firstly, make your mind up which it is. Secondly, if you want patients to let staff know they've arrived, staff the desk.

Nobody on reception after 15 minutes of hanging around.. another patient walked in and happened to bump into a cleaner as they walked into department so ended up going straight in!
