"Haemotology Appointment"

I never usually leave reviews, however this time I thought that it necessary. I would just like to thank all of the staff and doctors at the Haemotology Outpatients Department in Northampton for their service yesterday. I have had many, many hospital appointments in the past 9 months and this was by far the best experience I have had to date.

I arrived at my appointment on time at 1400 and was immediately taken for my blood test. I had to have a lot of blood taken and the phlebotomist was nothing but painless and considerate.

The waiting time was extremely minimal to see the doctor, who was very professional, direct and considerate again when talking to me. I felt very comfortable and open to ask questions throughout the duration of my appointment, in contrast to other departments where I am usually rushed and given a wishy washy response. My appointment was over within the hour.

Although it may seem as though you are just doing your job, I really appreciate all of the hard work you put in to making your patients feel safe, informed and comfortable. Thank you so much.
