About: Samuel Johnson Community Hospital

What I liked

Well - i found out i was pregnant, looked through my local choices for where to give birth.

I thought the samuel johnson unit looked amazing.

My Scan is Tuesday 21st and as id had no confirmation letter i wanted to confirm the time so i didnt miss the appointment.

I called the switch board number, asked for maternity and i was left waiting for 23 minutes before i decided to hang up.. no one even answered the call to say sorry we are busy...Its good job i wasnt calling to say im in labour and on the way as i would have gotten to the hospital in that amount of time...

I then called another number, was left on hold for a bit longer as i was waitng for the receptionist...

Someone came on the phone and said they are very busy and could i call back..

Since i had enough trouble getting throught the 1st time i said not really, they were then rather snotty and ended up give me my time....

This is my first experience of this hospital and in all honesty im a bit worried now how i will be treated for the rest of my pregnancy and whilst in labour.

This is my 1st pregnancy and to be honest i though people would be a little more nice and helpful. Im having second thoughts about even coming here now.

What could be improved

Nicer staff....

Anything else?

I HAVENT EVEN VISITED THE HOSPITAL YET AND NOW IM REALLY NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO MY ACCTUAL APPOINTMENT
