"Positive experience"

About: Northern General Hospital / Vascular surgery

Thankyou to all the staff on the daycare ward for the excellent care I received today whilst undergoing vascular surgery. For me it was a very positive experience. I was treated with dignity and respect by everyone I came into contact with. I was quite nervous when I first arrived but the lovely staff soon put me at ease and the procedure (Clarivein) was explained to me in detail before it was performed. All my details were checked and then checked again before the op went ahead. The procedure itself was not really painful at all and the surgeon did a great job. I was back home for 1pm and out walking my dog soon after. Thankyou to all for a job well done.
