"Reassuring experience"

About: Good Hope Hospital / Clinical oncology

(as the patient),

My visit to the above department this week was most reassuring experience with the nursing staff and Dr Lumley being not only professional but also showing a very caring and enthusiastic attitude to their vital work. The department was clean and bright, well run and my appointment as usual on time.

Thanks for the great care provided.

It was nice to see a nurse offering tea and biscuits to a distressed patient.

Long may you keep up this good and vital work.

I am so pleased to read that you found your visit to be most reassuring with the nursing staff, and that Dr Lumley was professional, caring and enthusiastic throughout, and also that your appointment was on time!

I will be delighted to ensure that your post is communicated to the Matron for Oncology, as well as to Dr Lumley and the Clinical Director who will highlight your post to all of the team. Feedback such as yours gives our staff a great boost as they work very hard to provide a positive patient experience, often under difficult pressures.
