What I liked
The hospital was very clean, good parking, secure, friendly, lovely calm atmosphere. I was visiting on a Sunday a relative who was transferred there from the LGI for rehab. The quality of care was really excellent and the hospital was spotlessly clean.
It was an excellent example of a great community hospital - back to cottage hospital style of nursing. Really highly recommended. A proper solution to bed blocking in the care of the elderly.
What could be improved
My only reservation is that my relative had to be transferred back to the LGI to see a consultant and this was a very difficult journey for her and made her quite unwell. I'd like to see patient transferred in such a way, seeing a consultant locally.
