I had to attend ENT for further tests after a mass in my neck had shown up on a scan. I was very worried to say the least. I was treated from the moment I entered the department with friendly professionalism. The nurse practitioner who did the initial assessment was informative and reassuring. The sonographer explained the whole procedure and carried out the needle biopsy quickly and skilfully.
I had to wait a considerable time to see the Specialist as they were called away to theater to an emergency. They arrived back in the department and although running behind on time gave my consultation their full un rushed attention. They explained the treatment available to me clearly and reassuringly.
i left the hospital feeling less worried and certain that I was to be given the best treatment and at a time to fit in with my pre booked holiday. Altogether a very positive experience..
