"Reception staff un helpful"

Having been to the hospital for blood tests and xray, I called the doctors and requested a call back 1st doctor couldnt read them then I requested another phone call and the doctor was brilliant, put my mind a rest and said to call them back a week later and they would look for my xray resuilts and explain them .I called back and the receptionst said it would be in a week for a call back

I told the receptionist that the dr had asked me to call and request a call form the doctor and they would call straight away all they said was thats what every paitent says !! Well thanks a lot I have been worrying about these results. The doctor was amazing and now I cant get to speak to them !!!!

Thank you for your comments and I’m really pleased to hear you have praised one of our GPs. All staff are committed to providing the best possible care and service for our patients.

It is possible that non-urgent requests are assigned a scheduled call back from a GP within a few days. However all test results are reviewed by a GP and appropriate action taken.
