I have a scaphoid fracture in my arm and I am allergic to the material in the orthopedic splints that they give you therefore my broken bone could only have what I would describe as a glorified tubi grip providing little to no support for the pain in my arm. After calling nhs 24 and going back to a&e I revived a call today from the fracture clinic and 3: 39pm which I could not answer as I was in a lecture so I called straight back at 3: 40pm with no response and have tried calling every 15 mins from then on still with no response. I am very disappointed in the service I am being provided as I have no support for a broken bone. The hospital not returning or answering my calls and I am having to wait for a MRI scan with not much more than a tubi grip, which is cause more pain than ever.
