What I liked

It's so handy having a small local hospital for minor things like blood tests and physiotherapy (which is why I have used Isebrook) - a bit like the old 'cottage' hospitals. It's not as daunting as a trip to Northampton or Kettering hospitals.

I'm never waiting too long to be seen, there's no hassle trying to park the car (and I don't have to pay a fortune for the privilege either!).

What could be improved

Maybe (if they don't do it already) they could start doing day surgery for minor procedures, have consultants carry out some of their consultations there; a small maternity unit would be nice too. The smaller hospitals may not be able to offer all the high-tech treatment, but they are so much more personal, and I hope the NHS will continue to use them to their full potential and even introduce some new ones to tun alongside the major hospitals.
