What could be improved
I was very surprised that in and A and E the Physician failed to use Universal Precautions. When attending to a patient with a laceration the provider failed to use gloves. The use of gloves protects the patient as well as the Provider.
The desk used for the examination still had fluid on the surface from the patient seen before .
To top it all off the Provider never washed his hands between patients. Have the Providers forgotten how disease is transmitted???
