"It is now almost 3 weeks since ..."

What I liked

It is now almost 3 weeks since my left knee was replaced - I am now walking really well with one crutch for support - very little discomfort - each day a friend comes round and we go for a walk - a little further each time. Weather too bad to-day but if all is well on Saturday (Feb 2nd) we are going to go shopping - whilst I sit on the handy seat provided by the store my friend will fill my basket! My life has been turned round completely by this operation and I am grateful to the NHS for making it possible. Sheila Lomas
