What I liked

The general level of care and nursing given to my father on the Stroke unit, the dedication of the nurses and domestic staff.

What could be improved

When a Sickness and Diarrhoea infection was identified on Tuesday 11/12/2007 the Ward should have been closed and Visitors not admitted, i was visiting a patient who was suffering from vomiting on Monday 10/12/2007, i was not told of the risk of cross infection,althougth the staff were aware other patients were ill.4 visitors who visted on 10/12 and 11/12/07 have become ill.Why was a leaflet not given on symptons and treatment on this Norovirus.
