Yesterday as part of transition to adult services my grand daughter received a home visit for assessment by a Community Learning Disabilities Nurse from NHS Forth Valley.
I would like to thank the nurse for her sensitive and very comprehensive, person centred approach that helped both my grand daughter and the family explain my grand daughter's health issues. The nurse was so helpful and understanding and her approach to the assessment was so sensitive and reassuring.
We have experienced many assessment processes over the years and have often found them quite challenging for us all, especially my grand daughter! Yesterday was a great experience for us all ....many, many thanks to a very special nurse!
