Its been over a year since my son came to St Andrews and he has continued to gain weight rapidly. My main concerns were because he has already been diagnosed with cholesterol and is on meds for this, next he could become diabetic or have a heart attack.

 I don't this he was on a good healthy eating plan, or getting enough exercise due to staff shortages and I was constantly expressing my concerns to all involved in his care about his declining health.

Now Ive been told my son is diabetic, im totally devastated because I feel if the hospital had kept an eye on his weight and took control over his health, we wouldn't be here today. I feel they have totally let him down...
