"Removal of a stent"

I had my gall bladder removed. 8 days later I rushed to hospital in excruciating pain. My clips had come off and bile was going into my stomach. I spent 3 weeks in total between scunthorpe and hull hospital. I was discharged being told my stent would be removed 8 weeks later. 8 weeks was mid November 2016. I requested in October 2016 that the stent be removed via General anaesthetic as I had a horrendous panic attack during an endoscopy and now suffer from those as well as anxiety. 21 weeks later and counting still waiting for removal. I've been told it's taken so long because of my request... Yet I don't think that either hospital started to even begin to arrange anything. So I have no idea what happens now with this stent that needs to come out? ? ! !
