"Fantastic Service"

I recently accessed the Bone Marrow Transplant Service as a donor for a family member. The contact i have had with the staff and overall the service in general has been second to none. We regularly see and hear negative comments about the NHS and its staff though the reality is very different to what you read and hear about via the media. The professionalism, compassion and rapport of the staff really helped me during a difficult time. The pre-collection health assessment and stem cell harvesting went exactly as had been described to me. The information i had received prior had been excellent. All of the staff were genuinely interested in me and my care, they are a fantastic bunch of people and a credit to your Trust.
