"On all occassions I was seen within half an hour wait or less"

About: Watford General Hospital Watford General Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I went to A&E with suspected Septic arthritis and was seen within 30 minutes. From there within 2 hours I had a blood test, seen a doctor and received intravenous anti biotics. Apart from having wait for the result of a DVT test I was most impressed with the speed that I was seen. Following this I went to the amblucare dept for further treament on the Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. On all occassions I was seen within half an hour wait or less and given futher IV medication as well as being seen by a doctor.

The staff were friendly, helpful and caring. I know others have different experiences, but having seen me through to a near full recovery I cannot thank the staff enough at Watford for their kind attention enough.
