About: Heartlands Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I had a gall bladder removal, but the operation didn't go as planned. It should have been day surgery but due to complications with the removal of the stone and bladder I had to stop in for a couple of days. In all honesty I wouldn't have known about the complications. The standard of the surgery and the aftercare were extremely high. Ward 12 has very friendly staff who treat you as individuals, answer all your questions and work extremely hard
