"I was disgusted at how I had been treated"

(as the patient),

After a long, nervous wait to be seen by the neurologist - I was greeted by an unfriendly consultant who lacked all empathy for my fears and treated me like a mannequin rather than a human being.

As a fellow staff member of the NHS I was disgusted at how I had been treated and would never let anyone walk away from me feeling so unworthy and confused.

I appreciate that this person may have brains to burn but I'd take a less qualified, caring doctor any day. Opportunities to feedback following appointments should be continuously available
