I rang up to get referred to a consultant for my knee. The woman on the phone was very helpful, and offered me an appointment in the next few weeks. However, I wanted to see the consultant that I know, and he has a waiting list. So instead I decided to go on the waiting list to see him. They will ring me, to give me the date of the appointment, when they know.
I think this is a good service. It’s changed since I last had a referral, and it’s quick, easy and suited my needs well.
