"Everyone showed great care and respect towards me"

About: Ninewells Hospital / General Medicine

(as the patient),

I was a patient in that ward for almost 3 weeks, having initially been in the high dependency unit at the same hospital. I found the service excellent. I had never been in hospital longer than 2 nights before my latest experience, when I got cellulitis in my leg and my kidneys failed after going into shock. The care I got from doctors, nurses, care staff, and students on placement was second to none. Everyone showed great care and respect towards me and carried out all their tasks cheerfully. Well done Ninewells hospital, and thank you so much for making my stay so easy, especially as I am quite a nervous patient at the best of times.
