"Eye clinic"

About: Queen's Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I was delighted with my consultation, HOWEVER it might be good if patients having mydriatic eye drops were advised to bring a pair of dark glasses to wear post consultation.

I made my own way to the appointment on public transport, on the way home I really struggled with bright sunlight flooding my field of vision.

A most uncomfortable feeling causing my eyes to water profusely diminishing my sight even more.

Such a small thing but would have helped me enormously if I had been wearing dark glasses.

Thank you for your email I am pleased to hear that your Ophthalmology consultation went well.

We also appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback. Patient feedback is always very much appreciated so that improvements can be made to the service and for our patients.

Your comments will be passed on the Divisional nurse for her to share with the team.

Yours sincerely
