"I appreciated the kindness from all the staff"

I went into Bolton Royal Hospital and the next day I had my replacement hip operation but I have had infection on my lung, my chest and also on my wound. I was bloated and swollen around my stomach, thighs, knees and groin. Most of this has gone but still have some swelling of my knees and thighs, but I cannot say how much I appreciated the kindness and help I received from all the staff. They have been great. I was released 3 weeks later to arrange a funeral as my wife died a couple before then.
