I came yesterday for a procedure even though TAU was full the care received ran so efficiently. I was informed of when I hoped to go to theatre, staff introduced themselves and the staff nurse looked after me professionally.. One nurse came to get me from theatre, and alongside one of their colleagues and anaesthetist put me at ease whilst also doing the tasks required to get be into theatre. The nurse in recovery was new to the area but they were supportive and kept liasing with me , I would never have known the nurse was new to the role. I went back to TAU rather than the ward allocated and I was still impressed. The health care nurse did my observations regular as clockwork provided toast and beverage the staff nurse also was great to check I was OK, wound check and gave me a very clear plan for discharge. The surgeon was also very kind and saw be also after theatre which helped allieve my worries too. An excellent service with. Exceptional staff.
"Excellent care in theatre admissions and..."
