I just want to thank the ward manager here on Carrock ward for giving us an amazing Christmas. She released (or obtained) money to provide excellent food and facilities for extra activities on the ward. Christmas is a very difficult time to be in hospital, you remember your past and sit and reminisce which isn’t helpful or nice, To be given the opportunity to be kept busy in such a festive way was really good. So I want to thank all the staff here at Arnold lodge for what they did over Christmas.

Thank you for your kind words and we’re glad you enjoyed the festive period. All the staff on the ward are aware that Christmas can be a difficult time for patients and it was most definitely a team effort to try to ensure that the best time possible was had by all. It is heartening to hear that it was appreciated. Thank you again
