I would just like to say how good the care I have had at Ormskirk Hospital has been. I have had problems for many years and after being referred to this hospital was diagnosed with a cyst and it was removed within 6 weeks. The staff are all brilliant, always making sure you know where you are and even apologising for keeping you waiting! I'm having fertility treatment now so it may be a long slog, but know I will be well cared for. H ward nurses were brilliant. Credit where it's due because they do a hard job and are always pleasant and caring. Also had to go into Southport Hospital to be admitted for infection after the op and was seen very quickly, admitted and dealt with in the best way possible, as well as given my hystology results by duty surgeon who had all my notes to hand. I was then contacted 2 days later by my consultant's secretary to check I was OK. Very impressed. Makes you put real trust in these skilled professionals.
