"The support and encouragement I received was amazing"

I had my son here . I was induced early morning at the start of a new shift, my lovely midwife and a student midwife came to see me immediately and introduced themselves and got to work straight away.

I was in labour for 9 hours and throughout that time me and my partner was not left alone once. The support and encouragement I received was amazing and after having a traumatic birth with my first child at a different hospital, I saw a huge difference in care. I can honestly say that the standards of care and support are extremely high here. Thank you so much to both student and midwife.
