"I feel reassured that I am being looked after"

I was offered an appointment at Claremont Hospital as a first available option.

The ENT consultant Mr Parker was kind and considerate. I felt he took time to listen to my explanations of my symptoms. Having decided that some of the pains in my ear and head were due to Arthiritis as well as an ear infection, I then saw him again 6 weeks later - much improved - after the appropriate treatment from my GP.

After discussing the options he decided another appointment in 6 months time would be suitable as a scan may be necessary if the underlying symptoms have not disappeared. I feel reassured that I am being looked after.

The reception and pharmacy staff were pleasant and cheerful - and the carpark was free. Of course, I realise this is not a large teaching hospital with hundreds of patients but it was very nice to be seen within about two minutes of arrival.
