About: Rotherham Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I was in Rotherham District General Hospital for a hysterectomy. I was only there for 4 days but my stay was comfortable. The staff were excellent.

I found it hard to sleep with the noise going on around the ward. The food was not very good at all, which could definately be improved, but overall I was pleased with my stay.

We were concerned to hear that you found it hard to sleep. Whilst occasionally emergencies do occur we would not expect the environment to be too noisy and would be grateful if you could contact us to give us any further information (telephone us on 01709 304461).

Similarly, we are always seeking to improve our food service so more detail would be appreciated.

It is pleasing to hear that overall you were pleased with your stay though and thank you for the feedback.
