I attended Royal Hallamshire outpatients clinic on two seperate occaisions in May and June 2010 for investigations in respect to blood in my urine and suspected prostate cancer.
My visits were to the urology clinic and for ultra sound on my kidneys. On both occaisions I was treated efficiently, effectively and appointments were on time.
Nursing and clinical staff were helpful and courteous. They put me at ease, given that some of the tests involved internal examinations. It was made clear to me what would happen and why, and was told when I could expect the results.
Fortunately the results indicated I had no problems including no evidence of prostate cancer. Thank you, NHS.
