"Worth their weight in gold"

About: Diana, Princess Of Wales Hospital

My daughter has been through quite a journey in the 10 months of her life.

She has a rare mast cell disorder.

When she was 6 weeks old she was passed around, fobbed off with colic, excema. I was treat like an idiot and asked if she was my first child (she isn't ). She was admitted to hospital the nurses didn't observe her and was discharged the next morning. We as parents we're extremely upset our baby girl was projectile vomiting and covered in hives. A doctor was walking by and noticed we was upset. The doctor entered the room to Diffuse the situation and then our experience of the NHS all changed. Our daughter was put under the outpatient care of this doctor. Who has done nothing but provide outstanding person centred care. The doctor treats our daughter with utmost dignity and respect aswell as myself and my partner. The doctor is consistent with her care and is quickly contactable. The doctor always involves us with their decisions and takes any concerns or thoughts we have on board. The doctor is an amazing and approachable doctor who always goes above and beyond. As a result our daughters disorder has became more manageable and we trust him 100%. I cannot express how much of a relief it is to have the doctor managing our daughters care, the doctor is worth their weight in gold and we will eternally be grateful for everything they have done. The doctor is our little Maisie's superhero. Please pass this onto them, thank you for all you have done for us x
