I would like to thank you (again) for the fantastic service received on December 22.
I came in to A&E with a terrific headache.
Within minutes of our arrival, I was placed in a bed and whisked off to have a CT scan.
The kind nurse who did the original observations suspected I had a subarachnoid hemorrhage and their suspicions were proved correct by a timely CT scan.
Through out the process, they would pop back and ensure that I was OK.
Within hours, I was transferred to a specialist unit in Oxford.
The ambulance drivers were excellent at keeping me calm! I really appreciated this!
Thank you so much that despite all the pressures on the NHS - within 4 hours I was placed in a specialist unit.
