"Shocking how we were treated today"

About: General practices in Lanarkshire

(as a relative),

Myself and my dad sent a complaint into NHS Lanarkshire (monklands) and John street GP practice.

Monklands were very good at the response, we meet with a member of staff at the practice and it was shocking, they didn't do their homework. No resolution to our complaint and no action's taken forward...

We have went through hell the past 10 months, so not happy at all with the care. Been told GP only has 10 minutes and is not interested in long term conditions.

How gutted we are, why does it take for me to request referrals to other modalities. This should all be part of the holistic care... it shouldn't be me pushing for referrals... utterly shocking...

we have meet with the practice and had a written reply. I left it for now, no further forward, and deflated. My dad is scared that if we take our concerns further that this will have an impact on my mum.
