even the porter who took me through to theatre put me at ease about the procedure having had it done himself.

Thank you for your kind feedback about your treatment and care at Good Hope Hospital under the General Surgery Team.

I am so pleased to read that you felt cared for right from your arrival until you were discharged home.

I will ensure that your comments are highlighted to the Matron for General Surgery, as well as the Clinical Director for Surgery who will communicate your comments to all of the nursing and surgical team who work very hard to provide a positive patient experience.

I hope my actions are acceptable and thank you once again for taking the time to provide your feedback.
