I was diagnosed with a tumour early 2015. The tumour was removed at the freeman and subsequent plastic surgery, free flap, was at the RVI. I was in hospital for six weeks and underwent six weeks of radiotherapy at the freeman once discharged. Because of the radiotherapy damage I have visited both hospitals regularly for the last 18 months.
My experiences of both hospitals has been nothing but positive the staff are absolutely fantastic without exception. The care I have received has been brilliant. I haven't had cause to use the NHS much till the last two years but I would have to say in my experience it is the greatest thing we have in the UK. Thank you.
