After a previous horrific visit to the QEQM I was full of apprehension when I had to attend the Ambulatory Care Unit at QEQM last week as a day patient to have a biopsy taken in Radiology
I was feeling very nervous on arrival at the ward, however my fears vanished when I found the staff expecting me and making me comfortable within minutes. All of the Nurses and nursing assistants including the "tea lady" were so very kind and caring throughout the day. For me the care was 100% honestly can not think of anything that could have been improved on in any way
I was anxious about the procedure I was having with just a local anaesthetic, having a phobia about needles, but thanks to the wonderful Radiology Consultant Dr. Plichta I did not feel a thing not even the local anaesthetic. Thank you so much
"For me the care was 100%"
