"Dentist, Nottingham walk in centre, London Road"

About: Walk in Centre

(as the patient),

The nurses were excellent. I had to wait few hours, but this is understandable. I feel that the dentist that I had to see unfortunately, was more like a factory worker, by this I mean that I don't think that their treatment helped me in any way and they were more focused on the number than the quality. They started to drill my tooth with no anaesthetic at first, which is understandable because I had a nerve problem. But when I was screaming from pain they then injected the anaesthetic, didn't wait for it to work and continued drilling my tooth. I screamed and they looked at me annoyed asking are you ok? I felt scared and intimidated by this. They numbed my throat to the point that I couldn't swallow my saliva, it was a struggle. I understand the dentist can't exactly know what nerve they are numbing but the dentist did not give me a warning that if my throats is numb I may suffocate if I eat. It looks like the tooth will have to have a root canal treatment so they injected antibiotics or antiseptic in to the tooth and told me to see my dentist for a proper treatment. At that point I was relieved that they helped and I didn't think I should complain, but today the filling that he put has crumbled. And since the treatment I had no hard food and I didn't bite hard, I also avoided chewy foods. At the moment the antiseptic is leaking. The pain is enormous. I can't see my dentist for another 3 days. This is not the service I paid for. I am dissapointed because I am in pain and because I will have to see the dentist 3 days after the treatment.
