What I liked

I would like to agree with AK with the concerns about alzheimers patients. My grandmother was their to have an operation on her pancreas and as an alzheimers patient she was often left wet in her bed for hours at a time and the room constantly stank of urine. She had a private room but was often neglected. She was placed in a chair looking out of the window and not interacted with when we got there she was often distant. She seemed to deteriate and got sores on her legs. Whilst there she also had jewellry go missing, caught MRSA and nits. At one point my grandmother didn't recieve a drink for 3 hrs as I asked a nurse to fill her beaker up gave her a drink myself from the cafe then when i came bk i asked the same nurse if the jug had been filled and the nurse said they were just about to do it. Her operation left her thirsty and tired. We took her out of the hospital asap and paid for private care. Worst hospital ever.

What could be improved

Everything. We manage in are home with an elderly husband looking after her who is also sick and the house doesn't smell of urine. Start sacking incompetent staff.

Anything else?

Try and get sent to another hospital if you have to go to hospital.
