Not my planned Wednesday afternoon, a trip to hospital with my Mum, but full marks to Solihull Hospital Minor Injuries Unit/Ambulatory Care Unit for first class care.
In 4 hours we had an assessment, x rays, blood tests, results of those blood tests, and a specialist ultrasound scan (that we initially had been advised we would have to come back for on Thursday but the staff member was still working and offered to do it there and then).
Next came diagnosis, medicines prescribed and delivered to us and all back to the car 1 minute before the 4 hours parking expired. Every staff member was caring, pleasant, helpful and smiling - even got offered a mince pie. 10/10
