"Turned Away With Blood steaming From Jaw"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Accident and emergency

I previously had a operation on my jaw to graft bone and put a metal plate in my jaw at another hospital.I was visiting Nottingam driving into town I felt something running down my jaw and neck I stopped the car and had look my wound had opened and I could see the metal plate and bone and a lot of blood and gunge coming from it.I quickly rove to queens A&E.After a 3 hr wait (I was never given anything to clean the wound I had to use my sleeve of my jacket) I was told by a mmatron that as it was not a accident or emerency they could not treat me there and told me to go to NEMS as it was a Sunday.IE:I was alone in the car and was very suprised that they told me to drive without putting a dressing on it/
