I noticed that a mole had changed colour and shape. I went to the doctor to seek advice (despite feeling stupid and that it was nothing). Both diagnosis and initial treatment have followed in quick succession. Impressive!
Huge appreciation to Dr Fay at Skerryvore Practice and the team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Dermatology Department (who I understand have been holding "catchup" clinics every Saturday for the last 18 MONTHS - I really think they need support NOW, to recruit and retain staff).
What could be improved? Signposting and use of support organisations.
Regards, Mr B.
