"Those doctors and nurses are a credit to out NHS"

About: Barnsley Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I was told on 21st May that I would needs an operation to remove my left tonsil. I was in total shock as I had never been put to sleep or ever had an operation in my life.

On the 3rd June I had the operation and from the minute I set foot in the door everybody was so lovely to me I shouldn’t have worried at all. The staff on ward 29 all down the line were absolutely brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for them, I came home on the 4th June and everything has been fine. Those doctors and nurses are a credit to out NHS service and thank you very much.
