"I just wanted to sing the praises of the staff"

About: Lanarkshire Community Services / Sexual Health

(as the patient),

I just wanted to sing the praises of the Long Acting Contraceptive Drop In Clinic in Wishaw (Houldsworth Centre). Popped in, was asked to fill in some forms and was then seen by a lovely nurse (who's name has slipped my mind) who fitted my contraceptive implant. Overall a really friendly, efficient service.

Only suggestion is that it would be great if there could be a drop in clinic during an evening slot (even if only once a month) for those of us who work.

Update posted by AprilShowers (the patient)

Brilliant - thanks for the quick response - given the majority of women in need of contraceptive services are economically active or in education, clinic timings that would make access easier would be great.

Thanks again.
