"Under-appreciated tireless workers."

About: Tameside General Hospital / Accident and emergency Tameside General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Tameside General Hospital on the 10th March with a badly broken arm and from the second I stepped through the doors the staff were supportive and tireless in there efforts to help me.

Every single department I visited was welcoming, informative, reassuring and did everything they could to get me well again, for that I will always be thankful.

Dear Mike25,

Thank you for posting your kind comments about the staff at Tameside Hospital. I am pleased to learn that your experience was good from the moment you stepped through the doors, and in every department you visited.

May I assure you that everyone in the hospital works hard to do their best for the people of Tameside and Glossop and that their efforts are greatly appreciated. Postings like yours help staff to understand that this is so.

I do hope your arm is now much improved.

Many thanks again.
