"ACL Reconstruction"

From the moment i stepped foot in the hospital i was greeted with three smiles from the staff on the reception desk. I had my appt within 25mins and then sent for an MRI scan which i booked in for the next day. My results were clear that i needed surgery as i had a complete rupture of my ACL ( anterior cruciate ligament ) On the day of the surgery i was taken up stairs to my room by a porter who as very friendly and i then got settled and ready for my procedure. The anaesthetist came into my room and asked me some routine questions about my health and also if i was allergic to anything and then the surgeon came in to see if i was all ok and ready for the operation. I walked down to theatres and the rest is a blur really. I woke up in my bed back in my room watching sky sports (very happy) The after care from the nurses and physios has been nothing but amazing. If i had to have another operation (touch wood I don't ) i would definitely come back to Spire Harpenden.
