"Understaffing at the Alexandra Hospital"

About: Worcester Royal Infirmary Worcestershire Royal Hospital

(as a relative),

I feel that 1 nurse and 1 HCA to cover 9 beds is not sufficient. Staff at the Alexandra hospital are amazing and they do all they can but they are stretched to the limit.

I am just glad I am able to attend to my husband, requesting temperature checks following procedures and meds etc.

My husband is 51 years of age and also let down by the trust, namely Worcester Royal. He has not received the care he deserved although he is terminally ill and with a young family. Procedures have been cancelled twice due to bed shortages.
